Precision Worm and Wheel Gear Reducers are manufactured by Ondrives.US in 10 frame sizes and with output torques up to 420Nm.
Worm gear reducers are very compact gear systems that produce an output at 90 degrees to the input. The most popular worm gears have a right hand thread. To change the direction of the output, left hand thread worm and wheel gearboxes are routinely supplied.
Most Ondrives.US worm gear reducers are built with ≤30 arc minutes backlash and can be supplied with as low as ≤4 arc minutes backlash.
