These shaft clamps can be used to fasten split hub gears or to position components on shafts. The shaft clamps can easily be loosened for repositioning without damaging the shaft or gear.
Split Collar Clamp Designs are available in anodized aluminum or 303 stainless steel. Inch and metric bores range from 3/32” to 16mm. These shaft lock collars can be permanently assembled by drilling through the clamp, gear hub and shaft and installing a dowel or spring pin.
Fish Tail Collar Clamp Designs are lighter in weight and have less inertia than the Split Clamps. They are available in 303 stainless steel, 416 stainless steel and low carbon steel. Inch and metric bores range from 3/16” to 13mm.
Four Screw Collars are collars with 4 set screws that can be used on Split Hub Gears. When tightened with uniform force, the 4 cup point set screws hold the gear firmly in place. These shaft lock collars are ideal if repositioning is required.
