Bellows Couplings: Misalignment Compensation with Zero Backlash
Comprised of two end hubs with set screws or integral clamps that fasten to a shaft, our stainless steel bellows couplings utilize hydroformed, corrugated flex members to compensate for axial, angular, and radial shaft misalignment. The corrugations in the flex members also absorb axial forces caused by thermal expansion.
Our bellows couplings provide truly backlash-free performance. With a low moment of inertia, minimal restoring forces under misalignment, superior kinematic qualities, and high torsional stiffness, they are the perfect solution for a wide range of motion control applications.
