Disc Couplings
Oldham Sliding Disc and Membrane Disc couplings are designed for high speeds and perform well in high torque applications. Membrane disc couplings are versatile and made from lightweight aluminum with stainless steel or brass hubs. They have a wide operating temperature range, large misalignment capabilities, and are manufactured in inch and metric bore sizes.

Sliding Disc and Membrane Disc Couplings for High Torque Applications
Single-disc and double-disc couplings are low maintenance, and precisely position the shafts to reduce vibration while transmitting torques as high as 530 in*lb. with zero backlashes. They are used in various motion control applications including pumps, generators, stepper drives, actuators, positioning slides, and other mechanical equipment.Oldham Disc Couplings
Oldham sliding disc couplings are zero-backlash, 3-piece coupling mechanisms that provide generous radial compensation and pull-apart/re-engage facility for blind assembly. Ideal for stepper drives, positioning slides, pumps, and actuators, among other applications. Almost any bore-to-bore combination and mixed inch to metric bores can be supplied up to 1-1/4” or 30mm. Our Oldham couplings are rated for zero-backlash for up to 100,000,000 rotations. Our High Torque version of Oldham’s is rated 25% stronger than competitors’ products. Oldham couplers are electrically isolating and can act as a mechanical fuse when the load is exceeded.Membrane Disc Couplings
Membrane disc couplings connect to two shafts to transmit torque and accommodate shaft misalignment. There are two styles: single-disc and double-disc. Single disc couplings feature two hubs and a single disc spring; double-disc couplings have two hubs with two disc springs separated by a spacer. The addition of a spacer provides double-disc couplings the flexibility to accommodate parallel shaft misalignments. Our All-Purpose Disc Couplings Provide Zero Backlash Performance
Ondrives.US offers Oldham Sliding Disc Couplings and Membrane Disc Shaft Couplings in a broad range of bore sizes, hub styles, materials, lengths, and diameters. We can also modify our stock disc couplings or create completely customized solutions for unique applications. As an industry leader in precision gears and drive components, we have the experience and expertise to help you find or create disc couplings that meet your exact needs. Disc Couplings Bore Reducers
Our bore reducers work with any style or brand of disc coupling to reduce the bore diameter. They slip easily into the bore and are available in brass, aluminum, or stainless steel. Brass and aluminum bore adapters feature a feathered head that sits in the chamfer at the bore entry and prevents over-insertion.
