Low Profile, Top Loading Easy-Access™ Linear Shaft Support Blocks
A “traditional” shaft end support must be completely dismounted from their base in order to service shafts and bearings, which can lead to the misalignment of parallel shafts. Misaligned shafts will prevent the carriage or table from sliding back and forth properly on its bearings or bushings.
Our Easy-Access™ Low Profile Linear Shaft Support end blocks feature removable tops that enable users to remove the shafts, linear bearings, and carriage without upsetting the position of the base mount shaft support block. This eliminates the need to reset critical parallel alignment required in many linear shaft systems.
LPB and LPBM Series Easy-Access™ Low Profile Linear Shaft Supports offer the lowest base-to-shaft height available. Precision-machined aluminum construction makes these shaft end support blocks less than half the weight of conventional cast iron shaft supports, and anodized finishes provide outstanding corrosion resistance for harsh working environments.
