Timing belts are almost always utilized in pairs to reduce “belt walk.” Even in a perfect system, however, a timing belt will almost always walk to one side or the other during operation. When staked or glued into journals at the end of our standard or custom timing pulleys, our custom pulley flanges are an easy and effective way to maintain optimum performance and eliminate downtime.

Reliable Custom Pulley Flanges

Specially designed to keep timing belts on their corresponding timing pulleys, our custom pulley flanges can be tailored to your unique needs. We can provide modified standard pulley flanges based on our 40DP, MXL, XL, L, HTD, T, or GT2 Series flanges. Or, we can work with you to develop completely custom timing pulley flanges that match your exact specifications. Aluminum, carbon steel, and other material options are available, along with custom sizes, groove counts, and other features.
 
To ensure a perfect fit and maintain peak performance in your motion transfer system, Ondrives.US custom pulley flanges should be paired with our standard or custom timing pulleys. Our timing pulleys can operate with no flanges, a single flange, or double flanges; in general, a pair of timing pulleys requires a minimum of two flanges between them to keep the timing belt in place.
