Counter Rotating Bevel Gearboxes
Ondrives.US Counter Rotating Gearbox is a T style bevel gearbox. It has two output shafts on the same axis and one input shaft at 90 degrees to the other two. These T style right angle bevel gearboxes are different than the more common ones in that the two outputs rotate in opposite directions.
Built in a single piece machined aluminum housing, these bevel gearboxes have 3 hardened steel bevel gears and 3 pairs of radial ball bearings
Counter Rotating Gearboxes are available in 1:1 and 2:1 ratios
We offer a range of six progressively larger housing and shaft sizes. The smallest right angle bevel gearbox has 5mm diameter shafts and a max output torque of 1.77Nm. The largest precision bevel gearboxes have a max output torque of 128Nm and 25mm shafts.
Our engineers have developed a White Paper “10 Points to consider to get the gearbox you need” to assist you in the selection of the most appropriate gearbox for your application.
“Inertia and the use of inertia figures” gives you an example and a formula for dealing with Inertia in gearbox selection.
